Though the weekend started out rather damp, it did not deter the men and women of the Union and Confederate forces from skirmishing at the Twin City Rod & Gun Club Inc.  Through on and off rain the troops continued to pour lead into the targets of the Neenah gun range.  The brats for lunch and spaghetti dinner were all that was needed to fuel the competition.  A brief evening fire was had with stories, memories, and history shared.  The next day the weather was fantastically hot, but even more skirmishers engaged in the rifled musket competition the next day, resulting in an excellent central Wisconsin skirmish hosted by the tireless efforts of the 66th North Carolina Infantry.   Units that took part in the competitive shooting event were comprised of the 2nd WI, 8th WI, 15th, WI, 1st USSS, 56th VA, 66th NC, and Battery H.
