2026 Rhinelander Memorial Shoot
This year the skirmish was not on Labor Day weekend, hoping for more ACWSA shooters. Unfortunately this was not the case, but there was lots of fun to be had. Saturday morning started off with an excellent long range shooting competition where individuals had the option to compete in whichever American Civil War firearm they preferred at a distance of roughly 250 yards. This was of course followed by the usual team competitions of carbine and smoothbore. Though later Saturday evening was the mortar competition. The weather was cool and clear for both days resulting in excellent camping and shooting conditions. Sunday would of course see the standard team rifled musket competition but also mortar golf. Lunches were provided for both days and all shooters thoroughly enjoyed the weekend in Rhinelander.
