Pards Stephen Sherry and Dan Christensen of the 15th Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry ‘Norwegian Bear Hunters’ hosted a table at a recent Hands-on-History event at the Civil War Museum in Kenosha, WI. They displayed an assortment of military equipment and promoted the ACWSA.
The ACWSA was represented at the 2018 Civil War Museum Expo by Daniel Christiansen and Steve Sherry of the 15th Wisconsin. It was a good crowd and many people were interested. Hand brochures were handed out and many individuals expressed the interest in attending our skirmishes at Bristol this summer.
On Thursday, May 25th, 2017 Wayne Blatherwick and Steve Sherry of the 15th Wisconsin, provided information about firearms to several school groups attending the annual Field Day in Kenosha, WI.

On March 12, 2016, Dan Christiansen, Mary Borsic and Steve Sherry ran a display table promoting the ACWSA at the 16th annual Civil War Museum Expo in Kenosha, WI. The Old Soldier Fiddlers performed at noon, giving an hour-long multimedia presentation that combined Civil War stories with a sing-along.
Pat Kaboskey, Gene Hass, Bill Osborne spent the morning of November 6th doing a live fire training/demo for high school cadets from St. John’s Military Academy. They all were able to shoot 5 different Civil War period weapons.
